| As usual, most of the work is in the preparation. Here we will use the Explode_OBJ plugin to blow up the letter A. We have used Modeler's Type tool to make the letter, then the Extrude tool was used to give it depth. Finally, the Bevel tool was used on the front polygon. We have given it a yellow color called "A01". |

| Here, we have put the letter in the background and started to make our cut-up template with the PEN tool. Lots of jagged edges will add to the "blown apart" look we want. |  |

| We have completed the cut-up template. This will now be extruded into a solid. The solid will be used in upcoming Boolean operations. |  |
