They thought I was crazy.  They said, "It's all in your head."  But I knew better...the voices I was hearing were real.

Occasionally, during lulls in the audio, I noticed tiny little voice sounds coming from the game.  Like an audio tape on fast-forward.  I set out to discover what it was.  Following are the results:

I used my Behringer mixer to pad down the audio output from the game... I ran the audio into a notebook computer & used SoundForge to record it... I then played the game until I heard the audio anomaly...

I isolated the relevant section of audio.  The anomaly is in the middle of this clip and goes by very quickly:
Anomaly (original speed)

I then slowed it to 25% speed and further isolated the anomaly:
Anomaly (25% speed)

This particular anomaly is a partial quote from the Cletus character, somehow being played very quietly at 4X speed.  I was hoping for it to be some secret message from the programmers with playing tips, but no such luck.  Perhaps they can shed some light on this oddity, though.

As they dragged me away, at least I knew who to blame...Cletus!
