Here's a rebuilt flipper mechanism, using the newer-style pawl with the external return spring. The coil was turned around to keep the diodes as far away as possible from the coil stop. Additionally, 3M traction tape was used as a soft-stop for the coil. This makes it quieter and minimizes the impact, affecting only the final 1/32" of plunger travel. |
